Walk for Talk
9km for Men’s Mental Health
Together, We Can Change the Story of Suicide in Our Community
On 11 October 2025, we are doing a 9km Walk for Talk Fundraiser in memory of loved ones lost to suicide and in support of men’s mental health. This event is personal for us. Daren lost his brother to suicide four years ago — a tragedy that shook not just our family, but our entire community. Sadly, we’re not alone. Too many families across the Wimmera have lost fathers, brothers, sons, and mates to suicide.
That’s why we’re walking.
How You Can Help
Walk for Talk is about honouring those we’ve lost, breaking the silence, and raising funds for the Outback Mind Foundation so they can continue their vital work supporting men’s mental health in regional Australia.
Whether you’re walking with us, cheering from afar, or making a donation, your support makes a real difference.
You can make an impact by:
💙 Donating now to support suicide prevention and men’s mental health.
💙 Sharing the QR code with friends who want to get involved.
💙 Having real conversations with your loved ones about their mental health.
Every contribution counts — together we can bring hope and change.
Your Impact
Every dollar raised goes directly to the Outback Mind Foundation, helping to:
Provide education and awareness about men’s mental health.
Deliver programs that encourage open conversations.
Support men in rural and regional communities who may otherwise feel isolated.
Your generosity means more men will find the tools, the support, and the courage they need to reach out.
